Vontu Network Prevent

Vontu Network Prevent from Symantec proactively stops network communications from being sent in violation of data security policy. Vontu Network Prevent can also conditionally tag traffic with confidential data to be routed to an encryption gateway for secure delivery and encryption policy enforcement. Vontu Network Prevent in action

For example, when an employee attempts to send source code and product designs outside the company, Vontu Network Prevent blocks the communication and will notify the sender or management of the violation. In another example, when a contractor attempts to send confidential customer or patient information to an approved vendor, the email is flagged for encryption in accordance with company policy.
